Hot’n Cold - Snow

Here’s a primer.

I am a big kid.

Okay I am short so that may point in this direction, but in the inside for a lot of things I am still a kid. And when I woke up this morning and discovered that it had snowed during the night, my first reaction was to strap some boots and a big coat, run outside and throw myself in a big pile of snow. Because every competent doctor will recommend this to prevent and cure all kind of diseases particularly the flu. It’s basically good for your health. No, no I am not making this up Internet.

I loved the look of one of my neighbors when she saw me in my jammies starting a snowball fight with some kids in the street.

Evidently I won.

Ok, I lost.

Bad. But there were 4 of them!

Anyway it was grand (and not at all humiliating). I just love snow.

Hot this week:

Snow! And snowball fights, and ice skating, and watching your breath mist, and hot chocolate, and… you get my point.
The Corbeil Essonnes Comic Festival: I had a great time over there with wonderful friends!
NA - Nature Addicts delicacies: at first I was skeptic but this little bad boys are not half bad!
The big ass earphones: because you can listen to great music in the subway and they protect your ears from frostbite. Here’s proof:

People who make a long face when they see that it snows. Come on, it’s snow, it’s white, it’s beautiful, it’s cotton like!
10 year old kids who gang up on you on a snowball fight! N.O.T. F.A.I.R.!

Sophie & Ludovic - Your Place, Your Time

When two individuals decide they want to start living together it is always something big. They somehow stop thinking as an “I”, and start thinking as a “We” instead (hey guys no pressure hu!)

Sophie and Ludovic are two lovely people. They are fun and beautiful, they are simple and yet sophisticated. It is a pleasure to spend time with them. And it was a real pleasure to photograph them in their new neighbourhood. And as the snow hasn’t melted yet around here it made for a very interesting scenery. We managed to catch some fabulous light at the end of the day and I am quite happy with the result. I also had the opportunity to give the 5D MarkII a real test run.

We really had a great light. This plus the snow and the somewhat urban environment made for an unusual setup for Paris.
