Okay you should never leave me alone in a shopping center while I have time to spare. I am not ashamed to say that I am definitely a shopping maniac. It ranges from “typical” guy things like hight tech stuff to clothing and fashion. Because while I am a little geeky, I am also a fashionist. I probably own more clothes than most of my girl friends can imagine. Each time I tell one of my best friend that I went out shopping (which most of the times ends up in me buying a new pair of shoes or a new jacket…) she rolls her eyes and sights and I immediately know what she is thinking: “Not again! You have more shoes than I have dammit!” (I know that if she reads this she will recognize herself).

So while I was waiting for my sister to grab diner I just ended up strolling in a department Store, one thing leading to another I bought a couple *cough* *cough* of things. But I have two very valid reasons for that:

1. I have nothing left that suits me anymore… okay lame excuse… cross that.
2. There are so many colors in clothing right now it’s actually great! It looks like the reign of “black is king” is finally coming to an end! Yeah!!

I finally see so many colored clothing in the stores, pink Ts, orange shirts or light blue pullovers. Don’t take me wrong, I have nothing against black, black is cool and looks good. But I just love colors. I see my world in colors and I really like to have a lot of colors in my life. It’s just happier this way.

And I think it kinda shows in my work. I always try to emphasize colors and to add color / constrast elements in my compositions. I don’t shy away from Black and White photography, I like it, but colors will always be my thing. I like vibrant blue skies, snappy green grass and things that pop in general. And I know that I will always chase for the color element to incorporate in my shots or for something that I will emphasize during post production.

Like in this shot which is from my last wedding of this season. Everything was so perfect: blue skies (if only for a moment), green grass, and the girls wearing pink assorted jackets.
