For the inexperienced audience, Cosplay is the art of impersonating a particular, imaginary character from a manga, comics series or even from movies. As I said in one of my previous post I love Cosplay, it’s fun, it’s creative, it’s visually very attractive.

I am blessed with friends who are very good at it and it is always a pleasure to organize a photoshoot with them. I really like these sessions because I can always be creative during them and I often come up with new techniques and such. It’s a change of pace from wedding or more traditional portrait sessions in a sense and it’s always refreshing. Just like modeling sessions, it helps me to stay sharp and I can always apply things I try here in my more commercial shoots.

For this photoshoot session, the theme of the costumes was Neon Genesis Evangelion, a very popular anime series.
