Karen & Cyrille – Wedding

Venue: Espace Matisse de Soyaux

Their story is simply a wish come true… Literally.

Karen was on her way with one of her friend to a wedding and on the road they stopped. She saw a shooting star in the sky and then she just wished to meet the man of her dreams. And at this wedding she was seated next to Cyrille, and everything changed that night as she finally met her promised one. Talk about fate (and clever seating arrangements)!

They were living 400 km apart but that didn’t prevent them to date and eventually to envision a future together. They are now married and blessed with a wonderful daughter.

They said yes on a beautiful Saturday afternoon with all their loved ones there to wish them loads of happiness.

Carolyn & Simon – Wedding

Venue: Domaine de l’Orangerie

Carolyn contacted me more than one year ago by email and as we were discussing about hers and Simon’s project I couldn’t help but think: “These are really two persons I would enjoy working with”.

Carolyn & Simon both live in the UK and they wanted to get married in France, near where Carolyn parents were actually living. And throughout our email discussions, it was clear that we immediately hit it off. Unfortunately they weren’t able to book me at once, as they had personal matters to sort out first, but I told them to let me know if things could change. We continued to exchange a few emails, and I knew that we would work together. And when people contacted me to inquire about my availability on this day where Carolyn and Simon would get married, I would always say that I was already booked, because in my mind and my heart I already was. And when I finally met both of them one afternoon in Paris, I knew that I made the right choice.

How could I be wrong? Carolyn loves Glee while Simon is a comic book geek, fan of Green Lantern! This was the perfect couple for me to shoot!

During this whole day, Carolyn never stopped smiling . She was surrounded by all her friends who came from all over the world. Simon was also escorted by his “Team Awesome” and the whole day was filled with laughter and happy moments.

Amélie & Jérémy – Wedding

Location: Champagnac La Rivière

Venue:Château de Brie

Hair & Make-Up: Sophie Dauchez

He was waiting by the door near the garden, anxious and eager at the same time. In a few moments, he would see Amélie, dressed in her gown, ready to become his wife.

In a few moments they would be leaving for the City Hall.

In a few moments they would be married.

You could read the excitement in his eyes, while he was looking at the slow rain outside. You could see the same thing in Amélie’s eyes as she walked in the room where Jérémy was waiting for her.

They both broke a smile when they saw each other for the first time, this smile said it all: they were ready. And for a few moments, despite the familly around them and the flashes of the cameras, they were alone.
